40 years ago, D Neath began Archival Gallery & Framing, gaining a reputation for excellence in the art and framing industry. Announced January 2024, D Neath decided to expand her art gallery and cease framing. In order to focus on the Archival Gallery, D passed on ownership of the custom framing business to her framing manager, Athena Alber. Archival Art Gallery will remain at 3223 Folsom Blvd. Sacramento, with some exciting new remodeling to occur. Archival Framing, under the new ownership of Athena Alber, will now be known as Adagio Custom Picture Framing.
MISSION
Adagio Custom Picture Framing strives to provide honesty, integrity and first-rate service to every client.
VISION
We are here to preserve your memories. With our one-on-one design consultations, Adagio will take what you love- from a concert poster to your great-grandmothers stitchery, and bring it to life in a unique custom built frame. The materials we use are acid free and uv filtered, which means your projects are protected for the long haul.
HISTORY
Adagio may be new, but owner, Athena Alber has been in the custom picture framing business for thirteen years. Athena has worked as Framing Manager for companies such as Aaron Brothers, Michaels Framing and Archival Framing. As a local artist, Athena has a keen eye for design and color and is able to think outside the box in order to make your framing projects a reality. We are proud to serve this amazing community.
